 Let's start!

(The number you will see in parentheses behind the instructions is the number of stitches you will have at the end of the lap)

Donuts body:

Row 1: We make 20 chain stitches and join both ends by making 1 slip stitch on the first chain (make sure that the chain is straight and not turned on itself).

Over the slipped stitch, we make 1 chain, so we will have a total of 21 stitches.

I insert the crochet hook in the first chain to make the slip stitch.

Row 2: 21 sc

Row 3: 2 sc - 1 inc (28)

Row 4: 3 sc - 1 inc (35)

Row 5: 4 sc - 1 inc (42)

Row 6 to 11:  42 sc

Row 12: 4 sc - 1 dec (35)

Row 13: 3 sc - 1 dec (28)

Row 14: 2 sc - 1 dec (21)

Row 15: 21 sc

At the end of the 15th row, cut the yarn leaving enough yarn to sew the ends and knit 1 slip stitch in the next stitch, pulling out the yarn completely.

Will look like this at the end of row 15 👇

With a wool needle, we sew the two ends, taking the outer part of the stitches.

As we sew, we will fill in the stuffing so that the stuffing is uniform and easier to fill in.

We will secure with a knot after finishing sewing the ends, and we will pass the needle through the body of the donut to hide the knot and cut the excess thread.

Make the glaze:

Row 1: Same as for the body. We make 20 chain stitches and join both ends by making 1 slip stitch on the first chain and a chain over this slip stitch (21p).

(Make sure that the chain is straight and has not turned on itself).

Leave enough yarn on the beginning strand of the chain stitches to use this yarn to sew the central part of the icing to the body of the donut.

Row 2: 21 sc

Row 3: 2 sc - 1 inc (28)

Row 4:  3 sc - 1 inc (35)

Row 5:  4 sc - 1 inc (42p)

Row 6: 42 sc

Row 7: 2 hdc - 3 dc - 2 hdc - 1 sc - 2 sl st

 1 sc - 2 hdc - 1 dc - 3 sl st -

 1 sc - 1 hdc - 2 dc - 1 hdc

 1 sc - 2 sl st - 1 sc - 3 hdc

 1 sc - 1 sl st - 1 sc - 2 hdc

 1 sc - 2 sl sc - 1 hdc - 1 dc - 1 hdc - 1 sc - 1 sl st

At the end of the 7th row, cut the yarn leaving enough to sew on.

We start sewing the centre, using the yarn that we left at the beginning of the chain stitches.

We take the outer part of the icing stitch and sew through the middle, at the height where we sewed both ends.

When you have finished, secure with a knot and put the needle through the body of the doughnut to hide the knot and cut off the excess yarn.

                          Will look like this 👇

We sew the outer part using the leftover yarn from the last round, just as we did with the centre, taking the outer part of the glaze stitch.

When finished, secure with a knot and put the needle through the body of the doughnut to hide the knot and cut the excess yarn.

The only thing left to do is to decorate a little with some delicious chocolate and strawberry chips.

            Done!
